I recently bought ddos protected /29 block IPv4 addresses from a local datacenter. But their pricing for dedicated servers or co-location was a bit too much for me so I decided to deploy a Virtual Dedicated server there, install MikroTik on it, and create a GRE Tunnel from there to my dedicated server which is located in another datacenter. This dedicated server runs VMware ESXi 5 and has 4 VM's in it one of them being the other endpoint of the GRE Tunnel Mikrotik.
The problem is, I was able to create a GRE Tunnel between these two MikroTik's, but I couldn't use the usable IP's in that /29 IP range on the VM's of my dedicated server. I set the gateway on the interfaces of these VM's to Mikrotik, but still no hope.
I don't know what to do after this point.
I would be appreciated if someone gives me ideas.
