OSPF Interface Invalid State change

Mon Aug 10, 2020 6:18 am

I have had relatively frequent issues with OSPF seeming to "stop" or "freeze" on various router in my network at seemingly random times with no obvious reason.
This stuff seems to happen once or so a month. When it happens I can still get in with mac telnet or romon to restart ospf and bring things back up and every time I look around and see if anything is different or wrong. Most times I see nothing out of the ordinary.
This time I noticed that on all ospf interfaces were either in a DR or DR other state.
They should not be in those states because I have either ptp or ptmp set on all of them.
I do not know if this is what has been happening every time, but I will be looking for it from now on.

Has anyone else seen this happen?
In this screenshot I had already disabled/enabled the first interface before I decided to screenshot it.
