I have 4 routers bridged together on a single ethernet without vlans
R1 is the master that they call connect to on ether1.
OSPF is flapping on some of those links.
I wish to try using NBMA and tcp/ip for those flapping links.
Are the following true?
1.) If I use NBMA on one of those routers, I have to use it on all 4 of them.
2.) If I put a vlan 1 on two of the routers R1 and R2 with a unique subnet, can I use nbma on that vlan1, and use broadcast on the others that have no vlan?
3.) Each router has a unique individual subnet to R1., do I have to connect them all via a single subnet and use that for NBMA setup?
Ie. I can't use multiple different networks on the same lan for the NBMA.
3.) Only R1 should be priority 1 and he rest are priority 0. Can I have more than one be priority 1 in case one goes down?
Thanks in advance Homer
