MPLS on MPLS

Mon Mar 09, 2009 6:37 pm

Hi all,

i believe many of us are buying MPLS service from our incumbent provider, so do i.

Now all my router on provider MPLS network are connected using EoIP, i am thinking of using MPLS on my router to deliver the package. Is it possible to do MPLS on MPLS network?

I only got ip address from my provider and i don't have the control over their router.

please advice

I will not recommend you to do this. It is possible, at least in theory to run MPLS over your EoIP tunnels, but I don't expect that to perform very well. If you want to do it, you should consider getting a proper leased line, where you control the routing yourself.
