Sun May 03, 2009 2:17 am

Hi,

i have started to use mpls/vpls, i have all board with last package test (version 3.23), mpls work fine. but when i create a vpls i have this situation :

router A vpls interface:

remote-label: 109431
local-label: 1974
remote-status:
transport: 172.16.250.11/32
transport-nexthop: 172.16.0.229
imposed-labels: 151028,109431

but router B report this :

local-label: 109431

this not receive labels :-/ and the interface not running :-/

ldp is operative

A:

...
2 DOTV 172.16.250.11 172.16.250.1 172.16.250.11:0 yes 172.16.0.118
172.16.0.125
172.16.10.2
172.16.250.11
...

B:

# TRANSPORT LOCAL-TRANSPORT PEER SEND-TARGETED ADDRESSES
0 DOTV 172.16.250.1 172.16.250.11 172.16.250.1:0 yes 172.16.0.235
172.16.250.1

Hi have also add TE support, the TE support works

Router A :

tunnel-id: 1
primary-path-state: established
primary-path: dyn
secondary-path-state: not-necessary
active-path: dyn
active-lspid: 1
active-label: 159478
explicit-route: "S:172.16.0.117/32,S:172.16.0.229/32,S:172.16.0.235/32"
recorded-route: "172.16.0.229[159478],172.16.0.235[0]"
reserved-bandwidth: 20.0Mbps

Router B

tunnel-id: 1
primary-path-state: established
primary-path: dyn
secondary-path-state: not-necessary
active-path: dyn
active-lspid: 1
active-label: 159474
explicit-route: "S:172.16.0.229/32,S:172.16.0.117/32,S:172.16.0.118/32"
recorded-route: "172.16.0.117[159474],172.16.0.118[0]"
reserved-bandwidth: 20.0Mbps

but VLPS not work

router A <- not work

local-label: 110697

router B

remote-label: 110699
local-label: 3500
remote-status:
transport: teRaddish
transport-nexthop: 172.16.0.229
imposed-labels: 159474,110699

It is a bug ? can i downgrade to 3.22 ? I'm confused :'(

Thanks

You should post your routes and LDP bindings for both B&A - most likely routing in the non-working direction is set up differently - e.g. B can only reach A over default route and you are not distributing bindings for that, or something else with route from B to A.
