MEssengers problem....

Hello all,

i am facing a problem.. Every website is working fine on user end but yahoo and msn disconnect automatically after 2 or 3 minutes. But when i connected wan direct then this problem never happens.

any solution.

Wild guess: stop using the proxy, or adjust your MSS if you connect via a method that introduces additional headers.

can you please tell us clearly. i am using webproxy now. And in Firewall i disable prot 80 forwarding. Can you tell us how can i solve this problem in details

Does the problem go away when you disable the web proxy entirely by disabling all NAT rules that redirect to the proxy, and remove all client references to it on the client computers?

Hello Fewi,

if we disable webproxy then bandwidth of the network will increase. we also want to run webproxy. can you tell us any other solution.

This would be a first step to determine if the web proxy is actually the cause of the issue. I'm not saying you should turn it off indefinitely. I'm shooting fish in a barrel here because you have not given any specific information as to your configuration, so all anyone can do is guess wildly.
That said I do not use the proxy so maybe someone else can provide more/better help.

i disable webproxy and check but problem is not solved yet.
