Hi

I have 5 MT RB 750 one is 750G the gate way with 4.13 RB OS version the rest is 5.4.
I have RIP over those 5 MT RBs , and sametimes i can log to them with and sometime i can not. And rip shows 16 HOPS . Now i came down to the point that i can only log in to my 1st router and RIP stop working entirely.

Should i upgred the 1s to 5.4 like the rest?

Why not? While you're there, you may as well upgrade them all to 5.18 so you're current.

Do you think that may cause the problem with configuring RIP on them?

There's nothing in the patch notes about it, but since updating takes barely a minute, it's easy to just update and find out.

If you have a lot of hardware to update, use The Dude to deploy the updates quickly and easily to all your devices.

thanks for help, will try to make them all lets say. 5.4 OS version on 750G and 750 ( 3 of them )

I updated and changed back to original version.

The problem was that from strange reasons to have the RIP working accross the devices ( 5 MTik 750s) i have to specify on some of the manually with witch router board device to exchange routing tables. Between 4.13 and 5.4 versions i this it. After that everything work ok.
