We are using Mikrotik 450G RouterBoard on our network it's working fine since we are using. But from few days some NAS's have issue with web sites are not opening Major issue with mail.yahoo.com ....

I suspect the issue with DNS hence we have changed DNS twice but the issue is same mail.yahoo.com is not opening. But other sites are working fine.

Then I gone to windows services.msc and stop DNSclinet service then site is working fine.. it okay ... but the issue is it is not for one user there are many user have this issue they are getting irate please help if you find any solution regarding this issue.

Hi there
basically I see 2 possibility.

1) you have encountered the dns caching issue affecting routeros as described in this interesting topic :

5.19 doesn't solve the issue.

As workaround , disable DNS caching using external ones.


2) If you are using clients connected through ppp connection, changing the mtu/mru to 1200 bytes will help to fix the problem as reported in
