why not add udp mode in openvpn?i think this is so imp!

This has been asked and sadly the dev team don't want to listen to the many many requests from end users for UDP support.
I believe MNorris made a comment along the lines of the deve team didn't like the state of the code base ( I can't find the post but it's here on the fourm)
I am a fan of MT and use them alot however this has been an issue for me for ages however they claimed it was never going to be done however the new ubnt edge router series seems to be listening to what MT are willing to ignore and have UDP support for OpenVPN so here it is Mikrotik Staff please listen to your customers and start working on UDP open vpn support.
I'm not trying to flog other brands however UBNT & Vyatta both can support this feature.
