VPLS/MPLS over OpenVPN

Tue May 21, 2013 9:54 pm

hi,

I made an OpenVPN tunnel between to mikrotik router. I could made GRE, EoIP tunnel over the ovpn but when I tried to make the mpls/vpls L2 tunnel I couldn't get pass traffic.
The vpls iface was rouning on the both side and I have seen that the package from the remote site arrived into the ovpn interface but after that nothing on the vpls.

It is possible to make mpls/vpls over ovpn ? or I made some mistake in my config ?

I used the http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Transpare ... using_MPLS page for the settings and
set the mpls-mtu to 1522.
Do you mean that interface or the ovpn, vpls or the bridge iface ?
thx,

I have VPLS tunnels running over VPN connections. Did you set the LDP transport addresses to the addresses of the VPN endpoint? Also the remote peer IP's should be the VPN end point addresses as well.

Anyone could run VPLS through OpenVPN? Or I alone can not do it? And also I can not understand why it does not work?
