We have a network that generates a nearby traffic at 170 Mbps, the problem is that it seems that routerboard ports are not able to manage above 170Mbps traffic tcp, udp works up to 800 Mbps.

We have tested a RB450G and RB1200 direct conection which one attached screenshot.

Anyone know what happens ? Where is the problema ?

If you are doing btest between the boards their processor will be topped by generating the tcp traffic.

As above - it will be a resource limit but from generating the test packets rather than routing the traffic (which you can see by opening the profiler).

Get 2 computers to put behind the routerboards and iperf or btest between the computers so the routerboards are only focused on routing.

Even top of the line CCR gets limitated by BTest before line rate/routing rate because of generating the packets.

For testing DON'T use both routers for generating traffic and see result on them.
Use another router/routers/PCs from both of sides which is generated traffic.
PC(bttest initiator) -----> test router ------> router (btest server)
And after that you can see real result only ...

v6.19 has some improvements for Ethernet buffers that may improve latency and tcp throughput in your case.
