Anyone using those 2 functions togheter and experiencing crash on bgp and routes?

Yes, and I opened a ticket about this issue almost two years ago. I have been answered that the "new routing implementation" will solve it. It was expected for v7 and by that time it seemed it was near to be released, but we are still waiting...

OK, i'll wait for it. Adding a network and discarding smaller prefixes will do the trick for now.

BGP went down because of generic route crash. It may happen some times in ROS v6,
unfortunately fix for these crashes will be only in v7.

Looks like it is pretty unsafe to run BGP on v6 . Any workaround you guys are doing?

At moment using paoloaga sugestion.

Annouce the aggregate prefix in networks, and discard smaller prefixes in filters.

I had same issues with route crash and after sending the support file, the answer was ver 7, but what work around works? thanks,
