Hi,
I need to redistribute to backbone some static routes from a OSPF router inside a totally stub area. (to route extra prefixes to some clients that do not are in my OSPF scenario)
I've tried to apply the following option in this specific router:
routing > ospf > instances > default > redistribute static routes=yes
But it seems that totally stub areas do not forward the static routes that I've tried to redistribute.
Then, I saw in some place that NSSA can help me to redistribute external routes, converting LSA type 7 (that are allowed to get to the ABR) in LSA type 5 that will be flooded to backbone and all areas.
The question is: Will NSSA really solve the problem? Is NSSA stable in version 5 and 6?
Best Regards...
