Transferring license from mikrotik server to Vmware Virtual Machine

Hii,
I Have A IBM System X3650 M3 Server Which i Using As mikrotik And it has a pendrive as bootable media and consists a level 6 controller mikrotik license.
Now i am Planning to Transfer the mikrotik to an Vmware Esxi Virtual Machine.
It is Possible to Transfer license or Converting USB Drive to Vmware Compatible VDK, VHDk. or connecting booting virtual machine directly from usb drive.
Plz Give Help Guys..

As I have experience about 7 years with mikrotik transfer of license can't be done because of change of machine ID

Well, in theory...

Original non-CHR Software ID depends on content of disk and identification of disk (I'm not sure what exactly it is, model, serial number). With real hardware, you can clone content, but not disk identification, so it serves as good copy protection. With VM it could be possible to do both. I remember that in the past I was able to move RouterOS disk from VMware to VirtualBox by configuring disk to use VMware's identification and Software ID stayed the same.

Booting virtual machine from physical USB drive should work too, but it's little less practical and flexible.
