Dose anyone knows if you run MKT OS on a vmware ESXi, are there any TCP connection limits ? I have a client, running MKT OS6, on a vmware ESXi v5, the server only allows 4500 connections or so. If we get more than 4500, the server fails. It has 4 quad core CPU's 20 Gb ram and 1 TB storage.. I dont know if anyone had this problem.

VMware workstation is a good virtual machine software. But if you are looking for alternatives, then you can either use Virtual Box if you have good configuration or you can use the inbuilt Virtual machine in Windows.

Trying to prove network issues but CHR is being blamed. I would go bare-metal but with not being able to transfer the license to another install, since I won't have the hard drive, I don't want to go this method (that is the only thing stopping me from doing a bare-metal install).

If an existing installation is being blamed as a problem then does it matter which you choose, the objective is to prove or disprove the installation on the existing machine? ESXi I have found works CHR really well once you get over creating the relevant files.
