Hello,
The 802.3ad load balancing is not supported in the new SwOS 2.0 yet.

Does this mean there is no 802.3ad at all? No Link Aggregation?
I was very interested in this switch but without LACP? This is a very big disadvantage.

Where can I find documentation about SwOS 2? This seems to cover v1 only: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/SwOS

LACP is in development. Not sure if it'll be supported on the CSS or other SwOS-only devices, but they do intend to support on the the new CRS3xx series which can dual-boot into SwOS or ROS. Might only be available on the ROS side when it is released.

LACP is in rOS available since v4 I think. I use it for a few years already with some CCR1036-12G-4S and CRS212-1G-10S-1S+IN.
See Wiki: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:In ... ng#802.3ad

I am talking about SwOS. In my opinion this is an essential switch feature, so until implemented I won't buy a CSS.

Yeah, I'm talking about SwOS too, given that this is the SwOS forum. You're right, LACP has been around in RouterOS for ROUTERS (i.e. in software), but it's currently unsupported for switches (i.e. in hardware). While you can technically implement it on the CRS line due to the limited layer 3 functionality, the only benefit you'll get there is redundant links, as the CRS CPU doesn't have enough power (and the chip architecture simply doesn't support) aggregated bandwidth.

becs, can we please ask for a delay of SwOS 2.0 to happen so that 802.3ad can be added into it?

Preferably for all platforms that support SwOS. If it can't be for all platforms, at least let it be for the platforms starting now.

LACP is supported with SwOS 2.1 (apparently buggy) and SwOS 2.2.
I'd love to hear about reports how well it works.
