CRS326-24G-2S+RM Where is CRS326-24S-2S+RM

Sat Jul 15, 2017 12:45 pm

Hi tik guys. As an ISP and knowing that you aim your products at ISP market. I'm baffled to se all new shiny things come out with copper ports?

Who is buildning with copper now days. Please make CRS326-24S-2S+RM for us at a lower price due to not having to supply any interface.
We can then populate that switch with what ever interface copper, fiber (single, multi, bidi, cwdm, dvdm) as we please.
As it now stands the biggest switch you have is an old 10Port (10S) with only one uplink and only one power this is not the device that we ca do stuff with.

Sure 16s+ is about to be released But I was asking for 1Gbit not 10Gbit with standard oversubscription levels 24 -> 20

One 16s+ switch could aggregate 4 24s switches (if we had one) and still have ports available to core connection without inducing Oversubscription in the aggregation layer.

I need Many 1G ports the 16s+ switch is not a replacement its to small 24 or even better 48 in one u (24 -> 2 10G and 48 to 4 10G (or 1 QSFP 40G)

Hi, I agree with Jimmy.
A CRS326-24S-2S+RM would be great for the ISP business and maybe DX32 cascaded to a CRS352-48S-4S+RM as Jimmy wrote :-)
( http://www.marvell.com/documents/rqWmeRpkMiKHMEthCEoJ/ ).
I put this on my wishlist.
