I am trying to set up a CRS317-1G-16S+ as a core switch behind a RB2011UiAS. I'm replacing my current HP Procurve switch and want to minimize the changes necessary on my router.

Right now, I'm just trying to get vLAN traffic passed through the switch. I have my router (ether 05) connect to the switch (SFP16). I have a laptop connected to the switch (SFP15). I am trying to set up SFP16 as a trunk port and SFP 15 as an access port.

Thanks! The instructions helped, but in the end it turned out to be with how I was configuring an access port for management and inadvertently created a switching loop.
