CRS-317

Thu Jan 03, 2019 4:28 pm

I am planning to buy 2 of this CRS-317 switches to join two headends I have with a distance of 32Km. I currently have a CCR1072 connected to my main provider on a 40Km distance with the following SFP: 10GBASE-ER SFP+ 1550nm, ER/40km/15dB, LC duplex. I need to know if this SFP can work on my connection with this switches between my headends. Attached is the specs PDF of the SFP.

Or if there another SFP recommendation to use between this switches on that distance which is more than 10Km

I've used both regular and BiDi 10G from FS.com and have never had a problem. I always choose the ones that are either Generic or FS compatible.
