Kernel failure is kernel failure ... reboot without proper shutdown can be anything, ranging from power failure to unnoticed kernel failure ...

But anyway, I strongly advise you to upgrade ROS to latest long-term (6.44.x) and routerboot (after ROS upgrade). If you do, make sure you have configuration export (the text one) and backup stored somewhere handy. There have been some changes between the old ROS version installed on your RB and current one ... and configuration might not get converted correctly depending on the complexity.

Today got three kernel failures on CCR1009-7G-C-1S+, ROS 6.44.5
This is first time I see kernel failure.
Router started to reboot every few minutes.
No idea what is going on :(

Update: totally fife reboots every 2-3 minutes. Then suddenly reboots stopped.
