CRS309 - trunk to/from Cisco SG300 not working

Sat Dec 28, 2019 8:43 pm

Unfortunately I am unable to get the switch-pair of my main switch (Cisco SG300) to my new CRS309 (running on SwitchOS) to work together.
Trunking should be set up correctly, VLANs have been setup (on both switches) ... as long as I am connected via my PC I can access the CRS309, as soon as I connect it to my Cisco Switch I cannot ping it.
Hint: I want the Mgmt-port to be the trunk port - but this should be possible as the software allows the settings for this. The reason for this is that I need all 8 10G-ports for devices/servers.
Have been trying for hours and to be honest I'm already frustrated.
Anyone who ran into the same problem?
Any ideas highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Have you enabled the "Independent VLAN Lookup" under the System menu? Have you changed any other default settings apart from VLAN related (e.g. port isolation or LAG)?
See whether disabling RSTP on the management port helps.
