Looking for a competitive Switch

Sun Sep 06, 2020 8:37 pm

Does Mikrotik compete in the switch segment? Looking for a comparable MT switch.
Specifically thinking about th is product with Wire speed 24 gigabit Switch w4 SFP ports, has "sFlow" for $170US.

It seems MT currently doesn't have product with 1:1 functionality compared to TPlink you're looking at. The closest is CRS326-24G-2S (it comes in both IN and RM cases), but has only 2 SFP ports (versus 4 on TPlink) and doesn't (yet) support routing in HW (TPlink calls this feature "L2+ feature - static routing"). HLB functionality (such as sFLOW) are not 1:1 either.
If you insist on routing in HW, then look at ROS 7.1beta list of Layer3 hardware offloading supported devices (but it contains only SFP+ or faster devices).
