CSS610-8G-2S+IN - ip change problem

Tue Nov 03, 2020 10:35 pm

Hello! Has anyone managed to change the IP address from the default 192.168.88.2 to something else? Every time I try to change the IP address to something else the result is that I can't ping or access the device with neither old or new IP address (need to restore factory defaults). Same problem on either RJ45 or SPF+ ports. Could someone confirm this?

I can also confirm that DHCP does not work on SFP+ ports as my device is connected to a DHCP relay over SPF+ and no DHCP lease offers stick to the device.

I can confirm. Same issue here.
Edit: When I factory reset, the switch defaults to 192.168.88.1 instead of 192.168.88.2.
Firmware: 2.13rc25

Which firmware version are you using? I had issues with DHCP over the SFP+ ports until I upgraded to 2.13rc25.

Thanks for all your replies but I returned the device in mid november. I don't do pro bono alpha testing where I have to pay on top. As soon as my Intel XL710-BM1 arrives I will be selling my CRS305-1G-4S+IN also. The R in the name is false advertisement. Got burned with MikroTik 2/2 so never again.
