Scheduler working on 2.9.28? (NOT WORKING - TESTED)

Thu Aug 10, 2006 11:29 am

Hello everybody,

can someone please confirm if their scheduler are working after upgrading to 2.9.28?
My scheduler - a nightly dsl reset - is not working anymore, tried this with current time and no event raises.

Worked till before upgrading from 2.9.27.

Regards,
Juergen

Ok i have tried this:

created a shedule task "test":
add name="test" on-event=test start-date=jan/01/1970 start-time=11:46:00 interval=1d comment="" disabled=no
and then created a script named "test":
add name="test" source=":log info \"TEST\"" policy=ftp,reboot,read,write,policy,test,winbox,password
And it is *NOT* working.

If i change the scheduler task to intervall 10 seconds or 1 minute, it *IS* working.

I assume a bug inside the 1d (or whatever greater 1 minute maybe, only tested with "1d 00:00:00", "00:01:00" and "00:00:10") calculation with scheduler in 2.9.28.
I have also tested this on older releases where its working.

Juergen

I have tested tonight when the script would called the second time and it worked. Just the first time with 1 day interval is not working (like minutes or seconds intervals do).
Maybe this would help debugging the problem.

On another router the 1d scheduler after the 2nd day uptime still not working.
There must be a bug with the new version 2.9.28.

Please MT Devs, take care about this.

I've upgraded to .28 on 2 boxes and both are still sending me my daily backups via scheduler using 1d 00:00:00 as the time ...

On my Main MT Box it is also working right after the 1st day.
Just on two routerboards it gives me those problems.

Right now i dont need it that badly but hopefully this will be fixed in next release shortly.
