I suppose that its only for the new SXT LTE but it only works on band 3 an 7 with 15mhz channel providers.

In http://forum.mikrotik.com/viewtopic.php?t=99392 Kristaps explained that the command was only for the specific mini-pcie card he linked to.

The 7700 is a North American card and only does LTE bands 1, 4 &17 so even if the command worked with the chipset in the 7700 it couldn't change to a band it doesn't support.

The 7710 supports LTE band 20 among others.
