RouterOS 6.35rc42 Wifi- Repeater issues.

Wed Mar 30, 2016 8:43 am

When Setup as Wan Lan with nat in between The Wifi repeater has Stability Issues.

My Setup has a bridge on the lan side so i can Wire some devices, but the bridge appears to drop out from the wire connection, here is my config file.
wifi-rep.rsc
Passwords redacted.

I'm also seeing some network error on the wireless specifically on android devices.
From a windows 7 laptop the connection seems to be stable only on the wifi

With the laptop wired It is a constant drop of packets to the ip address placed on the bridge.

there were no bridge drop outs prior to upgrading or setting up the wifi repeater.

The Firmware versoin on the router is 3.30 on 2011UiAS-2HnD

The only drop outs on the wifi I see from the laptop is I lose connection to any tcp session like ssh or winbox. but hard wired I can't even browse the web.

I have a supout file but it would not let me upload it.

What do you mean? Can you explain a bit better?
I have experimented with such a setup and it appeared to work, but I have not stresstested it yet.

This has been resolved. it was result of ether10 having an issue. causing the bridge to think there was a loop everything works now that eth10 has been removed from the switch/bridge.
