No responce by SNMP

Tue Jul 12, 2016 5:04 pm

Hello
I have RB911G-5HPnD with RouterOS v 6.35.4
This is my SNMP settings:
[admin@MikroTik] /snmp> print
          enabled: yes
          contact:
         location: home
        engine-id:
      trap-target:
   trap-community: public
     trap-version: 1
  trap-generators:
[admin@MikroTik] /snmp community> print value-list
                     name: public
                addresses: 0.0.0.0/32
                 security: none
              read-access: yes
             write-access: no
  authentication-protocol: MD5
      encryption-protocol: DES
  authentication-password:
      encryption-password:
When i'm doing "snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 192.168.88.1", I get this error: "Timeot: No Responce from 192.168.88.1"
Device ping is OK. On my PC I can see SNMP packets which I send in Wireshark.
In WinBox\Tools\PaketSniffer I can see packets, which device receives from my PC, but nothing send from device to PC
How can I fix it?
Thanks

Your address is set to 0.0.0.0/32, that means it will only respond to SNMP requests from 0.0.0.0 and not every address. Set it to be either 0.0.0.0/0 and set an appropriate firewall and different community, or set it to respond to your specific snmp server.

Setting address to 0.0.0.0/0 helped, big thanks!
