CCR SNMP monitoring

Fri Aug 05, 2016 4:56 pm

Hi
we're trying to monitor critical values of CCR systems in our network.

the idea was: there's linux running, so we should be able to monitor ample parameters.

well, wenn it comes to CPU monitoring only one value is readable: ssCpuSystem.0

therefore I'd like to know: how to monitor cpu usage?

and on a sidenote it would be glorious by MT to make the value output from "/tool profile" readable via snmp.
(where do I put a feature request?)

regards
hk

i am using standard snmp mibs, hrProcessorLoad, to capture ccr cpu usage. you can monitor usage of each core

thanks, but this is the linux-style cpu-load value imho, therefore no percent usage for the whole box.
also getting 72 cpu load values and making some sense for alert values makes me quite clueless here.

i am using zabbix, it gives me percentage, i can also put all cores into single graph, so i guess that depends on the monitoring software you are using
