G'day folks.

We have a small problem with our users, and some a-retentive people out there.

It's not Mikrotik's fault, but our users are sending out fragmented flags (It's managements fault, something about lowest bidder), Is there a way I can re-assemble these fragmented packets on a Mikrotik before passing them into the rest of the network (and the internet)?

Also, I need to strip the don't fragment flag on incomming packets destined for users so I can fragment the packets and send to the users.

Ideas? Help?

I've been asking for the clear DF option - hopefully it will make it into the mangle chain as an action, as Eugene told me it should be added in the next release via email. I haven't seen it yet.

If you have connection tracking turned on it should automatically be reassembling packets for you. Possibly this only works when it's going thru NAT? Not really sure about that myself.
