OSPFv3 Filtering

Thu Dec 29, 2016 4:52 pm

Hi I was baffled to se that routefilters is not implementet in OSPFv3.
I can put in ipv6 records in my filterlists but not use them in the process is this a joke or am I missing something obvious.
The wiki has not a peep on v3 and yet it has been there as long as I have used mt.

Please explain to med how to filter v6 in ospfv3 on MT

+1 on this one, we should be able to filter our routes and also to use authentication with OSPFv3

The answer will be to wait for ROS7. Until then.....basically...yeah....

Also why in the heck are you using an IGP for anything other than loopbacks and links. Isn't that what BGP is for?

By Default it uses the filters

ospf-out
ospf-in

So to avoid confusion you can Rename IPv4 Filters to another

The problem is when you want to filter differently by areas.... or instances..
