I have a question as I'm about to export a configuration from currently working Mikrtoik device.

I want to export whole configuration in Terminal. The question is: does such export export MAC addresses (ETH and WLAN)?
I can't test it anywhere, only in client's company. Is there any risk? I have already seen that such export exports IP address, but what about MAC addresses?

as i know export doesn't export MAC (only if you had changed it), also there are no system users and their passwords. if you need mac and users you should use backup, but in this way you can import it only to the device where it was made, even on the same device you can have problems

/export compact (or just /export) only exports administratively set MAC addresses.
/export verbose exports all MAC addresses.
