Rename request IPv6: "DHCP Server" -> "DHCP PD Server"

Thu Apr 06, 2017 10:59 am

because what ROS IPv6 DHCP does, is only prefix delegation, IMHO it is less confusing if ROS will change the name to DHCP PD Server.

Counterproposal: Keep the name and fix the functionality instead. Sure, it's more work, but it will be appreciated by users much more. :)

+1.

DHCP server name is very confusing because it does not have address distribution neither dhcp options support. Only prefix delegation support.

It is even more confusing because the Router OS DHCPv6 client has address support but this function can't be used with the server side.
