2.9.35 PPPoE - Still ghosting

Tue Nov 14, 2006 8:10 pm

Just wanted to let the MT people know that we are seeing ghosting and connection initiation problems with PPPoE on 2.9.35 - from the changelog, it looks like you've been fighting this for a whle now. If you'd like a support.rif please send me an email and I'd be happy to provide it.

You should send the support.rif file to support@mikrotik.com

then there is only one solution - make configuration where you can clearly see ghosting, make supout.rif and contact support.

if you *realy* are alone with poblem, check your configuration. if other ppl will report problem and mikrtoik can reproduce problem - then it *will* (not *might*) be fixed

EDIT:

take clean router - make configuration - reproduce ghosting
write down any step how you create configuration.

you will recieve answer what you have done wrong or it is going to be fixed

Is that package for RB500, x86, or "yes"? :)

I wasn't able to install it on the RB500 units, but I was able to install it on a PC router - so I guess I answered my own question.

Normis - would it be possible to get a version compiled for RB? That is where I see the most problems.
