Winbox log is no longer updating

Hi there,

I'm encountering an issue on ROS 6.38.5 where the winbox log has stopped updating. Freeze is not selected. I have tried closing and reopening the log several times. I've tried it with freeze selected and unselected. I've switched from memory to all and vice versa. Nothing. The latest entry in the winbox log is outdated.

If however I run /log print in the terminal I see newer entries that aren't display in the winbox log.

Any ideas?

Try upgrading Winbox..

What's new in v3.8:

) support RouterOS v6.39;
) fixed problem when table header was hidden if filters were activated;
) after Log window was opened second time, updates were not displayed automatically;

I am using v3.11.

A. Try to connect with MAC and check if refreshing works.
B. You need to clear session state of WinBox.

Hi BartoszP, could you give a bit more info?

I know how to connect to MAC, but how do I refresh? Or do you imply that it will happen automatically?
How do I clear session state?

B. Open %AppData% folder and look for Mikrotik\Winbox folder.

going to Tools -> Clear Cache in Winbox has helped for one occurrence of this. But it just fixes the symptom not the root cause.
