TR069 help

Mon Aug 28, 2017 12:57 pm

Hi,

I have freeacs installed, and a client SXT Lite5 that connects to freeacs. I wanted to test remote software upgrade with acs. I provide an TR069 script, as follows:
<upgrade version="1" type="links">
<config/>
<links>
<link>
<url>http://download2.mikrotik.com/routeros/ ... 2.npk</url>
</link>
</links>
</upgrade>

The results:
-Device performed a factory reset!
-Software not upgraded

Someone can help how to upgrade the software properly?

Looks like you only use the routeros bundle package, but you also need tr069-client package
Check this: https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:T ... e_Image.29

Great idea to use our server directly :)

Hi,

Thanks, xml now looks like:
<upgrade version="1" type="links">
<config/>
<links>
<link>
<url>http://download2.mikrotik.com/routeros/ ... 2.npk</url>
</link>
<link>
<url>http://internal.serverip/tr069-6402.npk</url>
</link>
</links>
</upgrade>

But the problem is the same! Tested, all files accessible.
Btw, can you provide me with a working sample of these files? I wanna upgrade software and change parameters like scanlist or bandwith, so if i can execute ROS terminal commands somehow it seems the solution for me. I read that Vendor Configuration file can do this, but i don't know how it must be formatted.

So I had same issue. What you need to do is make sure when you are doing your file configuration in free acs. You are giving it the name with .alter at the end. it shoudl then show under jobs with the name xxxx.alter . Hope this helps.
