Hotspot Queue HTTPS vs HTTP

Wed Aug 30, 2017 4:45 pm

Hi, I'm new here and from Indonesia. So, I'm sorry for making mistake

I create an hotspot server including user profile with outgoing mark packet. I use those packets for queue tree.
When user hit HTTPS, queue child works very well. But, If user download HTTP, the queue tree can't handle it (bandwidth leaked).

I assume that the hotspot cause this issue, so I turn off the hotspot. Both HTTP and HTTPS queue back to normal

Bug, or my configuration?

PS:
I'm using MikroTik 6.40 x86

Transparent proxy means MT intercepts HTTP, so the source of HTTP traffic is now the MT box - it doesn't hit the queue.

When it checked all http traffic will going to mikrotik proxy server (consume router's resource) and you can trigger to run advertisment popup.
