Good day
I have several mikrotiks running vlan at the office.
On the one mikrotik i have setup vlan trunking on ether1, eth2, ether4 and ether5.
Ether3 is on vlan(IT) Trunk.
Today i was copied some large files over the network to a computer on the vlan(IT) interface.
I have noticed that ether1, ether3, ether4 and ether5 was showing the same TX results, but i was only transferring files to computer on ether3.
Can someone please explain to me why this is happening?
Have i setup vlans incorrectly or does it show on all the interfaces that belongs to vlan trunk?
I have noticed this only when transferring files over network shares.
