ether5 and ether6: onboard interfaces

RouterOS version: 6.40.3

It is possible that it because of SFP modules. I can give an option "allow_unsupported_sfp" for the iggbe module in Linux.

How can I make it in RouterOS? how to find out the reason why interfaces aren't visible?

Did you found solution for thi problem? I have installed Intel X520 to server and routeros sees only one interface.

Many recent drivers aren't included in x86 ROS, it haven't been updated for a long time and I don't expect this to change. Buying hardware that is supported is like playing Russian roulette, there isn't even official list of supported hardware.
There is small hope that ROS 7.x will use more modern kernel and will have more drivers, but all this is just pure speculation and no one knows when it will be released, so right now you are pretty much out of luck.
Only possible solution at the moment is to run hypervisor and CHR ROS, wasting CPU cycles on VM virtualization you really don't need...

Good, at least this one works.
Also in one other thread we got info from Mikrotik that even more Intel drivers will be added to the next ROS 7 beta version, so looks like there is some hope...

Im also using X520-DA2 in 2 of my Border Router and they work perfectly fine with v6.81. You dont need to do nothing, it should be detected automatically
