static routes with dhcp ( exclude traffic from pppoe)

Is it possible to add a static route to an network a.b.c.d/24 or even
just a static route to host a.b.c.d via dhcp?

I am assigning a default gateway for my dhcp clients but I would like to
assign seperate static routes for various networks and hosts. This is
actually a work around for a more complicated problem we have for excluding
certain traffic from a pppoe connection. That the clients establish. I believe there
are other people also looking for a way to exclude certain traffic types
for example "local" traffic from the pppoe session so that it doesnt end up
in the radius database. If anyone has found a solution for this I would be very
interested. I could do some manual monitoring with some scripts and a *nix box
to exclude certain types of traffics but I am afraid the size network wont allow me
to do so and i just seems to me that it would be a "broken" solution to the real
