RB1100AHX4: TX drops on VLAN

Tue Jan 16, 2018 11:17 pm

Hello,

scrolling through my RB1100AHX4 controller I found that one on the incoming interface:

The ethernet interface on which the VLAN is sitting has no drops at all. How can I debug those drops? How can I check what packets get dropped?

I had a similar problem on the x86 router.
I was able to reduce the amount of drops experimenting with queues (/queue interface).
But first make sure that the physical interfaces have a "only-hardware-queue" queue

ethernet interfaces are set to "only-hardware-queue"
flow.control is disabled on all ports
