I Experienced an odd situation
I installed an LTE E8372 on a RB951 and set it up.
when I wanted to send SMS, RB replied my the port is inactive
I went to system->ports and saw usb1 was in red and inactive
I played a little, not success
tried to remove that. it got removed.
but I was not able to add it back
even by unplugging and plugging back and resetting the configuration.

any similar experience?
I need both LTE connectivity and sending SMS

If in hilink mode sms is not possible
