After upgrade firmware 6.40.5, Can't change admin's group to full

Thu Feb 22, 2018 9:25 am

Hello, I just upgraded firmware to 6.40.5 and found many issues, such as router reboot itself periodically.
I want to upgrade to new firmware to 6.41 but I can't because "admin" account is set to "sys" group which limit access to many features such as Terminal, etc..

When I open Users sections, it has another account "sys" which is set to "full" group. I don't know its password, if anyone in here know please tell me.

Thanks

Chances are, you have to netinstall and reconfigure :(
Once finished, change the admin PWD right away?

What's the point in responding to this 7 month old post?
Especially as a lot of water how flowed under various RouterOS bridges since then.

What's the point of being unpleasant? Why do you care?

You're paranoid.
It was a perfectly reasonable question for the reasons I stated. It wasn't "unpleasant".
Why do you care?
I don't.
But I do see someone who is cruising around the forum looking for virtually irrelevant things to answer.
I expect you're trying to "big yourself up" and up your post count for whatever reason.
That's the only reason I can see for the post, unless you're just bored of course.
And then you try and be clever and answer a question with more pointless questions.

The OP was last active on Mar. 6th. Says it all really doesn't it?

Doesn't matter how much water has flown since, the solution Alain (which BTW, is a Mikrotik Trainer) provided is still valid, and someone may find it while searching in the future which is the point of the forum, to sum up useful information for all users.

I'm afraid it's you who is being paranoid... not the first time you are warned (Aug 2nd), no rudeness.

You've been banned, hope a couple weeks are enough for you to calm down.
