Where/Who di I go to for RouterBoard hardware issues?

Subject says it all. I'm having issues with the NICs dropping off (according to the Interface traffic graphs in winbox). This is not a good thing. Routerboard 532A model. Ether1 is a management port, ether2 and ether3 are bridged. I'm doing traffic control on 2 and 3.

Also the Routerboard seems to be giving me an issue with bad communication to an HP Procurve switch. "Excessive Jabber" is the error.

Thanks

always contact the seller of the item. they will look at the issue, and organize a replacement if necessary.

Any other suggestions?

The reseller was WISP-Router Inc and I have not had a positive experience with them.

Are there any other users that seem to be having issues with the NICs/dropping packets? Are there any forums for hardware? What would be a good search term in the forums?

Thanks for the reply!

I don't have similar experiences, but there is a RouterBoard (hardware) forum at http://forum.routerboard.com/ - perhaps take a peek there?

Good vendor, but not very good support. Every time I ask them a question the answer is "I don't know"... granted, I only call them to ask hard questions, because I can cover the easy ones on my own....

Thanks all!

Thank you all for the replies and the RouterOS is one scarry good product! I am into traffic marking/queueing and the knowledge I have gain just by using RouterOS is amazing. Talk about an quantum leap in using HTB.

I would upgrade to 2.9.39 if you have not already.

It will only take a min and may fix your problem

Equis,
I am at 2.9.35, so that is a good suggestion. I will try that.

On another note, anyone know the admin email of the routerboard forum? I'm having difficulty logging in / registering.

Thanks.
