How to remove antenna from RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN

Tue Apr 24, 2018 10:33 pm

I have a RB2011UiAS-2HnD-IN router - which I want to connect to an external antenna - but how do I remove the current antenna?

I've tried getting on it with pliers and other tools ..but it's on there pretty solidly - feels like I'm missing something obvious.

Can anyone provide any insight?

Do you pull or push antenna from enclosure?? You need to squeeze inside part and push out.

The plastic part is docking. The antenna connectors are also docked.

If I had an equal model I would make a video to show you. See the video below if it helps anything.

That's what I was attempting to do - there seemed to be some 'fins' on the inside, seemed somewhat logical / obvious - "Hey if I pinch these together - this whole thing should push through" .. but that's not quite what was happening. It feels like I was crushing the thing and not squeezing the fins together. Don't know - maybe I was being too gentle.
