ROS 6.x LOG display problem with high resolution and scaling

Wed May 23, 2018 8:57 am

I have a laptop with 1920x1080 screen resolution, and enabled WindowsDPI scaling at WinBox settings (right mouse click>properties....). There is a big problem with LOG, because there is no all information about TIME, for instance like this: May/23/2018 07:5... memory system, info... - NOT full time - no minutes, seconds.
MikroTik team - please repair that problem with log displaying at high resolution and Windows scaling with WinBox.

It works, if you set it up properly:

No - it's not "properly" when it's blurry. At that settings - WinBox at my screen is blurry. Much better setting is "application" at properties, but.... the log is "not full displaying" at that setting:(

Posting a screen shot showing the problem would help.
And if its a bug, this is not the correct place to ask for help.

resolution and scaling

Hello,
We do have plans to address this problem in future Winbox releases.
However, this would require major re-work of Winbox tool so we can not
provide any ETA for such improvements at the moment.

Best regards,
Martins S.
There is no solution at today - one year later!
MIKROTIK TEAM - PLEASE REPAIR THAT BUG AT NEXT WINBOX RELEASE. THANK YOU.

It should be fixed, but in the meantime send your logs to an external syslog server.

The issue is from at least 2013, if not from the beginning. ( viewtopic.php?t=77074 )
Still present in May 2020
