Mon May 28, 2018 8:41 am

Hi Guys! :D

So! My configuration after upgrade:
/system resource usb print detail
 0 device="1-0" vendor="Linux 3.3.5 ehci_hcd" name="RB400 EHCI" serial-number="rb400_usb" vendor-id="0x1d6b"
   device-id="0x0002" speed="480" ports=1 usb-version=" 2.00"

 1 device="1-1" vendor="HUAWEI_MOBILE" name="HUAWEI_MOBILE" vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x1f01" speed="480"
   usb-version=" 2.10"
/system routerboard print
       routerboard: yes
             model: CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD # new device
     serial-number: XXXXXXXXXX
     firmware-type: ar9344
  factory-firmware: 3.41
current-firmware: 6.42.3 # new device with new firmware
  upgrade-firmware: 6.42.3

/interface lte print
Flags: X - disabled, R - running
My modem (Huawei 3372 hilink) not preset in lte interfaces

But on this configuration:
/system resource usb print detail
 0 device="1-0" vendor="Linux 3.3.5 ehci_hcd" name="RB400 EHCI" serial-number="rb400_usb" vendor-id="0x1d6b"
   device-id="0x0002" speed="480" ports=1 usb-version=" 2.00"

 1 device="1-1" vendor="HUAWEI_MOBILE" name="HUAWEI_MOBILE" vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x14dc" speed="480"
   usb-version=" 2.10"
# modem "device-id" is different
/system routerboard print
       routerboard: yes
model: 951Ui-2HnD # another device (i just try compare)
     serial-number: XXXXXXXXXX
     firmware-type: ar9344
  factory-firmware: 3.10
  current-firmware: 6.42.3
  upgrade-firmware: 6.42.3
/interface lte print
Flags: X - disabled, R - running
 0 R name="LTE" mtu=1500 mac-address=0C:5B:8F:27:9A:64
modem (Huawei 3372 hilink) is preset in lte interfaces

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Peripherals
Huawei E3372 v6.xx Works! LTE interface. vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x14dc" There is different versions of this modem available, not all work under RouterOS. Only cdc_ecm and Serial modems are supported. Modem firmware upgrade may be necessary. For ppp mode send AT^SETPORT="FF,12,1,16" data-channel=1 info-channel=0, other modes are explained in modems manual. USB Y LTE
I swear, on this device (my old device)
/system routerboard print
       routerboard: yes
             model: 2011UiAS-2HnD
     serial-number: XXXXXXXXXX
     firmware-type: ar9344
  factory-firmware: 3.10
  current-firmware: 6.36 # and old firmware
  upgrade-firmware: 6.36
/system resource usb print detail
 0 device="1-0" vendor="Linux 3.3.5 ehci_hcd" name="RB400 EHCI" serial-number="rb400_usb" vendor-id="0x1d6b"
   device-id="0x0002" speed="480" ports=1 usb-version=" 2.00"

 1 device="1-1" vendor="HUAWEI_MOBILE" name="HUAWEI_MOBILE" vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x1f01" speed="480"
   usb-version=" 2.10"
and this usb HUAWEI Modem are worked fine, and LTE interface are preset and have worked fine!

Question!
Why on my new device model: "CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD" and new firmware "6.42.3" my modem (vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x1f01") can`t show and work LTE inteface?

P. S.: then i connect my modem (vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x1f01") to device "951Ui-2HnD" - LTE working fine!
Whats wrong with my new device "CRS125-24G-1S-2HnD" and detection usb modem?
Where are the problem? :(

Unplug the modem, power off the board, then attach the modem and only then power on the board.

the command above may have the same effect as rebooting without the modem connected.

/system routerboard usb power-reset duration=2

I exchange modems and see again:
vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x1f01"
why?
i waiting for:
vendor-id="0x12d1" device-id="0x14dc"

two modems are the same! E3372h
BUT detect on mikrotik with different "device-id" on two different routers. Strange fact!

did you send the support file?
it is quite usual for those LTE sticks that they first present themselves as a different device.
that device is a "CDROM" which contains the software for Windows. A Windows laptop will see the CDROM,
auto-run the software, it will install and start and it sends a special command to switch the stick from CDROM
mode to modem mode, and then it is recognized by Windows as a new device plugged in the USB.
The MikroTik has to send this same command blindly (i.e. knowing of it without installing the CDROM)
Maybe something has changed there.

Yes, supout has been sended!
This modem configured as CDC network card/adapter only (as Hilink mode), and if connect to windows pc or correct mikrotik router i can go to "192.168.8.1" from browser and get full control on the web page/interface. May be try re-configuring modem to "Stick" mode? I think about this way. And, of course, i waiting reply from official support Mikrotik.
I think that router have incorrect usb port bus hardware or software (i hope) problem.
