I'm looking for a way to get the 'broadcast' mode for bonding to discard the extra packets.

The purpose is that I want to have a rock solid VoIP connection between two points. Either link may go down and I want failover to be instant because the packet was already on the second 'wire'.

broadcast does this, but then I've got duplicate packets to deal with. Would love to see some way for the broadcast mode to simply accept the first packet and discard any late/slow ones.

I'm not concerned about the bandwidth utilization at all, just getting the best latency and the best redundancy I can get.
