I'm looking for help to understand bridge traffic statistics. I have the following bridge port setup:
bridge
Code: Select all
[admin@hAPac^2] > /interface bridge port print where bridge=bridge
Flags: X - disabled, I - inactive, D - dynamic, H - hw-offload
# INTERFACE BRIDGE HW PVID PRIORITY PATH-COST INTERNAL-PATH-COST HORIZON
0 wlan1_2.4GHz bridge 1 0x80 10 10 none
1 wlan2_5GHz bridge 1 0x80 10 10 none
2 H ether1 bridge yes 1 0x80 10 10 none
3 H ether3 bridge yes 1 0x80 10 10 none
4 H ether4 bridge yes 1 0x80 10 10 none
5 I H ether5 bridge yes 1 0x80 10 10 none
Code: Select all
[admin@hAPac^2] > /interface bridge port print where bridge=bridge-test
Flags: X - disabled, I - inactive, D - dynamic, H - hw-offload
# INTERFACE BRIDGE HW PVID PRIORITY PATH-COST INTERNAL-PATH-COST HORIZON
0 ether2 bridge-test yes 1 0x80 10 10 none
1 eoip-tunnel1 bridge-test 1 0x80 10 10 none
2 wlan_4_eoip bridge-test 1 0x80 10 10 none
I would expect that on bridge-test interface I would see roughly the same traffic statistics like on ether2, assuming that there is no other traffic generated on wlan_4_eoip interface. However, when I check statistics in Winbox, I see 0 bps:
Can someone please explain me the behaviour? Why I see 0 bps on Rx/Tx on bridge-test interface? Router is hAP ac^2, with 6.43rc11.
Thank you in advance.
