Urgent Help Please!

I have a CCR1009 type router programmed and functional. However, when I log in using winbox, I also see myself logged in via telnet eight times! I cannot make sense of it. Under IP Services, telnet is not enabled. Any ideas or advice is appreciated.

Do you use a terminal window in Winbox?

Sindy- Do you use a terminal window in Winbox?

I only use Winbox on a Windows PC.

This happens when you have several terminals hidden behind other windows. Close some windows and you will find those eight terminals. And close them.

You are so right! I did not notice that so many terminal windows were open and have not encountered seeing that in the log since I usually only use a single terminal window.

It will not happen if we could see all open windows within the Winbox as on this simulation:

@Pea: Nice image, but maybe try sending it to MikroTik support as official feature request, instead of posting it in every remotely related thread in this forum. ;) Personally I'd rather have a taskbar-like list of windows at the bottom of WinBox, because there's not so much space at the top. But there are already complaints about problems with vertical space on small screens, so another panel at the bottom would not make those users happy. On the other hand, any solution should be optional anyway.
