HAP AC^2 switch configuration

Thu Jun 28, 2018 10:05 am

Hi.
I have HAP AC^2 international revision with latest 6.42.5.
While configuring it I don't see "Switch" on the left menu in Winbox 3.15.
RB750G has this menu item and I can configure port mirroring, add switch rules, etc.
In HAP AC^2 I can not, but it is possible to configure switch manually in the terminal:
/interface ethernet switch
/interface ethernet switch port
/interface ethernet switch rule
Is this a bug or a feature?
Are these commands still allow to configure switch rules and other switch features like port mirroring?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

This is a known issue and will be fixed in the next RC version. Currently you will have to configure switch related features using the terminal, you can use this guide as an example:

I believe this WAS already fixed in earlier RC:
What's new in 6.43rc4 (2018-Apr-23 10:59):
...
*) winbox - show "Switch" menu on hAP ac^2 devices;
...
All we need to do is wait till it gets to current/bugfix. (I can NOT confirm if the fix really works, I am just mentioning that the fix was released so it should not be a "known issue which will be fixed in next RC")

Well, I think we should wait until it will be fixed once and for all. :)
Thank you!
